Charles Sturt Fencing Club was formed in 2011 when a group of fencers from three different clubs came together to create a new club, featuring a permanently established fencing venue in South Australia that would allow fencers to get on the piste training and fencing quicker. To support this goal, a location in Hindmarsh was identified as being suitable to provide room for eight pistes, changerooms, office, and armoury - with room to spare. The founding members could see the potential and we remain there to this day, continuing to evolve the space to make it easier and quicker for our members to get on the piste and fencing.
We aim to cater for fencers and members of all kinds, from beginners to the more experienced, the young and the young at heart, the recreational and the seriously competitive. Whatever level of experience you have, we can accommodate you.
Our members actively compete in competitions at state, national and international competitions. If you're the competitive type then we can support you whatever level you want to compete at.
